Strength & Stretch

Breathe and move in a way that is safe and effective for the pregnant & postpartum body to prepare for and recover from childbirth. We will have time for a brief community check-in, yoga/pilates based movement to build strength and stretch and end with guided relaxation & imagery. Suitable for all levels.

Francesca’s classes are both relaxing and challenging. Her sense of timing is perfect for a pregnant body — she makes sure we have plenty of time to breathe between postures. The sequences are thoughtful, varied, and offer me a sense of calm. I always leave class feeling like I’ve gotten in a solid workout and prepared my mind and body for the birth process. Finally, Francesca checks in sincerely both before and after class and it’s always nice to get reassurance or a quick pregnancy tip from a doula as part of my yoga hour. So grateful to have her guidance on my pregnancy journey.
